TORONTO –Ontario PC Leader Tim Hudak announced today Pamela Taylor will be the Ontario PC Candidate in the Toronto Centre by-election.

Pamela is a successful business woman and has a long history of volunteer involvement in Toronto Centre. Her community leadership includes her central role in the construction of the innovative Peregrine co-op as well as her long-time advocacy to improve legal representation for low-income Torontonians. As a thirty-year resident, Pamela understands the issues facing Toronto and the neighbourhoods in Toronto Centre. Pamela and her family reside in Moore Park.

Under Dalton McGuinty, Toronto is in steep decline with an exodus of jobs, decaying infrastructure and high taxes, with the $ 3 billion HST tax grab being the latest tax hike on families. Spending scandals at eHealth, OLG and WSIB show the rot of entitlement and waste that has spread across the Liberal government. The PC Party will talk to voters about our ideas to restore jobs to Toronto and accountable representation at Queen’s Park.
